Though based on the tradition of fish and vegetables, in keeping with the demands of a cosmopolitan clientele, the cuisine served aboard our houseboats vary depending on the clients requirements. Complete breakfast along with lunch,dinner and evening snacks is provided on board the houseboat.
- Welcome drinks
Tender Coconut water is provided as welcome drink.
- Breakfast
We have the option of Bread+ butter + Jam + omelets with South Indian food items like dosa, idly with sambar and chutney , tea /coffee.
- Lunch
Normally traditional kerala food is given , Rice, Sambar, 3 Vegetable, fish fry, pickle, papad and sweets .
- Evening Tea/Snacks
In the evening Tea with banana fry or other north Indian snack items is provided
- Dinner
Chappathy, Rice Dal, Chicken curry, vegetables.
- Drinking water
Bottled branded mineral water is used as drinking water( unlimited)
- Crockery
All crockery and utensils are new and hygienic and care is given to keep it very clean and safe.
- Vegetable and other consumables
Utmost care is given in selection of vegetables,fish, chicken etc (fresh and seasonal vegetable are used and fish and chicken is fresh and very hygienic).
- Cooking oil
Refined Sunflower oil is used in all food.
- Preparation of food
Trained staff is available for making the food and serving it fresh and tasty giving importance to hygiene.
- Storage of food
Proper hygienic and safe storage
facility is available for proper storage of rice, vegetable ,
spices, oil etc.
Important note
Menu can be changed if informed in advance for example , North Indian clientele can avail,chilli chicken, ginger chicken chilly fish , dal fry, alu gobi, gobi manchurian etc anfd food can be prepared according to their taste buds and preferences, and foreign guest can get food specially made with less spice or without spice etc.
Guest can also buy fresh prawn, crab, karimeen or any or any fresh fish during their cruise from fishermen( fresh catch) and our chef will prepare it for the guest without any additional charge.
